CFI (Comitato Fiere Industria - the Industry Fairs Committee) encompasses and represents the most significant part of the Italian fair system which organizes and promotes the major international trade shows held in Italy.

The "CFI System" includes the organizations involved with shows activities which operate within Confindustria (the Italian Confederation of Employers): Manufacturers’ Associations, which directly or indirectly organize trade shows; Shows Organizations which are the direct offshoots of such Associations; the regional Associations where national show areas are located.

CFI was given the exclusive assignment by Confindustria to manage its federation policy in the trade show sector - an assignment under which the Committee acts as Agency for the Italian Shows within the "Internationalization Development Project" of Confindustria.

CFI’s primary objective is to give special emphasis to the Italian fair sector, taking all the actions needed to this purpose, in line with promotional strategies and industrial interests expressed by the Committee’s Member Associations, and within the framework of Confindustria’s general guidelines.
